En la semana pasada la bodega era completada, el ladrillo del techo era instalado sobre el segundo salón y continuaron con los enjarres.  Esto no es de olvidar todo el material que tienen que meter cada semana en las caretillas para moverlo a la cancha a dentro para poder de trabajar…

This past week the storage room was finished, the roof tile installed over the second classroom and plastering completed on various walls, not to mention all of the material that the men load into wheelbarrows to take from the street back to the courtyard to use for the work…

Ya hemos terminado con el techo abajo y pronto vamos a terminar con lo de arriba también.  Después, estaremos listos para los acabados y para los alumnos…

José instalando el techo de la bodega/oficina.  Estamos esperando que, por el fin de esta semana, tenemos el techo completado y que está listo de ser sellado.  En la semana que entra vamos a empezar pintando, instalando la luz y el vitropiso.

We now have the last classroom’s ceiling finished, and soon will have the final roof poured on.  Then it will be ready for the finishing touches and for the students…

José installing the ceiling in the new storage room/office.  We are hoping that, by the end of this week, we will have the roof completed and ready to be sealed so that the following week the painting will be done, electric installed and the flooring will begin to go in.

En la semana pasada, los trabajadores se pusieron todos los nuevos muros que necesitamos, instalaron la tuberia para la luz y empezaron con el nuevo techo también…

This past week the men worked very hard and we now have all of the walls completed, conduit installed for the electrical and the ceiling/roof started as well…

Terminando con la destrucción del techo, ahora estamos empezando a reconstruir el edificio.  Le primera etapa es de poner el nuevo piso.  En la semana pasada, del 21-29 de Julio, tuvimos un grupo de la Iglesia de Cristo el Rey de Houston.  Vinieron y trabajaron muy duros para terminar el piso!

Reconstruyendo los muros.  ¡¡¡Muchas gracias al equipo de Cristo el Rey y por todo su perseverancia!!!  Si Dios permite, esta semana (empezando el 28 de Julio) vamos a poner las nuevas vigas y empezar con el nuevo techo.

With the destruction of the roof complete, we have now begun to reconstruct the building.  The first important step is to pour the new floor.  This past week, from July 21-29 we had a group from Christ the King Church in Houston who worked very hard to accomplish this!

Reconstructing the new walls.  Thank you to them team from CTK for all of your perseverance!!!  Lord-willing, this week (week of July 28) we will be installing the new I-beams and starting the new roof system.

Del 5 a 12 de Julio eramos bendecidos de tener un grupo que vino de la Escuela Cristiana de Heritage en Indiannapolis.  Nos ayudaron con la construcción (o mejor destrucción) de la escuela…

Queremos agradecer al grupo de la Escuela Cristiana de Heritage y a Matt y Esta Jesch por traer este grupo para ayudarnos.  Estamos en el proceso ahorita de hacer el piso de concreto por este espacio y esperamos que tenemos fotos pronto que podemos poner de este progreso.
